havent been here since the Arc, so ill give my two cents.. MEssy messy race... I thought Rail Link was a decent winner and could well improve next summer but isnt yet the Superstar we all hope for in the Arc. I thought Deep Impact came out with great credit. IMO, he was far too forward and would have preferred to be where Pride was, to use his late kick. He should have been motoring home in the last furlong, rather than taking it up with2 to go and being a target for the others. I've joined the Japanese society in college so hopefully someone can translate all those YouTube news videos from Japan about Deep Impact. It would have been some story if he won.. Anyway, I cant believe that I was nowhere near a bookies to lump on every horse bar Deep Impact at the PMU prices. Never seen anything like it...


Finally, I think it might be a little bleak for the Euro turf challenge. Red Rocks is OK but nothing fancy. Hurricane Run is a tricky ride (would be unreal in 2m+ racesIMO) and Turf wont be run to suit, there is something amiss with Shirocco and you couldnt really fancy him.. all doubts regarding the top euros..
