Default You know, I've had a great posting career...

But it's time for me to call it quits and retire.

I was going to bow out quietly again, sneak back in and see if people are wondering about me, or I thought about just ripping everyone a new assh@le and go out and burn all my bridges...

But nah, sometime tomorrow I'll stop by this thread to view over all the well wishes, then never log back in here again. Thats right, I'm going out in style. First class this time

Look, we all know my contract here eats up a lot of cap space - my retirement should be able to help Kasept bring in some quality free agents from outside boards.

I realize there is no way those new up and comers will be able to replace my veteran leadership.

I know some of you are thinking ... "yeah, see you next month DrugS - this place has you by the balls" or "somewhere along the line you stopped loving being a bettor and started to love attention whoring"

Nonsense - it truly is time to pass the torch. I've been blessed to have won back-to-back poster of the year awards - an accomplishment that hasn't been equalled since the days of Roger1807 and dial-up internet connections.

If it was up to me - I'd do a Silence Suzuka thread tomorrow, a Lava Man on the day after that, and some Trivia Tuesday. But the 2yo sales are calling. Another attempt at a summer betting campaign is calling. Another glorious Presque Isle Downs meet is calling. What's not calling is anyone on my cell phone, I forgot to pay that bill. Sh!t.

I'll end a storied career with these final words: Hate gave us Columbine, Hate gave us the assassination of Dimebag Darrell, Hate of Steeler fans brought me back here a couple of weeks ago.

"Love is what this world needs a whole lot more of" <--- Some guy you sort of know from Erie
