Default SAT - Breeders' Cup Day 2 - Santa Anita

Breeders' Cup - Day 2 POST SCRATCHES - FAST / GOOD

Santa Anita

R1 - Juvenile Turf Sprint 100k (OFF Turf 2yo 6.5F)

R2 - CB Golden State Juvenile (2yo 7F)

#2 Wake Up Nick (5-2) 2ND
#5 Comanche River (12-1) 4TH
#6 Mischief Clem (3-1) 3RD
#1 Acceptance (2-1) WON $3.40

R3 - G3 Senator Ken Maddy (Turf 6.5F)

R4 - G1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (2yo f 8.5F)

#11 Top Decile (10-1) - Seems versatile in first two races to adjust to pace scenario and post postition. 2ND
#2 Angela Renee (3-1) - Prep winner clearly is a serious threat once again.
#1 Feathered (8-1) - Just needs a clean break and be forwardly placed throughout. 4TH
#8 Puca (6-1) - Crushed when trying dirt at two turns and should stalk from an advantageous draw.
#4 Conquest Eclipse (4-1) - Working lights out and could turn the tables this time.

R5 - G1 Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf (Turf 10F)

#8 Irish Mission (20-1) - This race has a history of some BOMBS and she looks like that kind to me.
#7 Emollient (12-1) - She seems to like the firm SA lawn and the price will be an overlay.
#6 Fiesolana (Ire) (8-1) - Euro is battle tested and must be respected for all slots.
#2 Just The Judge (Ire) (5-1) - Coming off two solid U.S. performances and she draws perfectly for her style. 3RD
#3 Dank (5-2) - Not as sharp as last year coming in, but keep her off your multis at your own risk. 4TH

PK5 - 2 5 8 11 / 1 2 5 6 / 2 5 / 11 / 2 3 6 7 8 = $80 for $.50

R6 - G1 Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint

#3 Stonetastic (8-1) - Benefited the most from the Midnight Lucky scratch. A clean break and she'll be a handful to reel in. 4TH
#6 Leigh Court (4-1) - As solid as they come and she's not camera shy.
#7 Judy the Beauty (5-2) - Just missed last year and has had another productive year. WON $8.20
#8 Better Lucky (15-1) - Looking for her to pick up the pieces and add some value underneath. 2ND
#5 Artemis Agrotera (3-1) - Versatile filly must prove she can ship outside of New York before I jump in at low odds.

R7 - G1 Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (Turf 6.5F)

#4 Tightend Touchdown (8-1) - Draws well and was able to handle tricky course last year when 2nd. Expecting a big run.
#2 Silentio (8-1) - Always been a fan and these miler types have had success in 1st attempt down the hill.
#11 Undrafted (8-1) - Has handled shipping all over including overseas and this course looks to suit him just fine. 3RD
#1 Reneesgotzip (5-1) - She'll be gunning from the inside draw and look to hold on without Mizdirection breathing down her neck.
#5 Ambitious Brew (12-1) - Loves this course and must be included.

PK4 - 2 11 / 2 3 6 7 8 / 3 6 7 / 2 4 11 = $45 for $.50

R8 - G1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile (2yo 8.5F)

#9 Carpe Diem (4-1) - Super impressive at KEE and looks to be in good position throughout before kicking it into gear late. 2ND
#7 Texas Red (20-1) - Really jumped up two turns on dirt and I expect another nice off the pace run. WON $29.80
#8 Souper Colossal (12-1) - Undefeated colt should be forwardly placed and no reason to think he'll fade away late.
#12 Daredevil (7-2) - Has been brilliant, but there are a few of questions; two turns, never racing on dry dirt, and never shipping.

R9 - G1 Breeders' Cup Turf (Turf 12F)

#1 Telescope (Ire) (4-1) - Euro class usually dominates this race and this guy has been knocking heads with Europe's top runners. 4TH
#7 Flintshire (GB) (7-2) - Seems to like firm ground and comes off monster 2nd place finish in the world's most important Turf race. 2ND
#11 Chicquita (Ire) (8-1) - Connections showing a ton of confidence picking this spot instead of BC F&M Turf. Don't discount chances.
#12 Main Sequence (6-1) - Hard to go against 3 G1's victories in a row, but faces his toughest challenge since arriving state side. WON $14.40
#5 Hangover Kid (30-1) - Hard knocker gives me the indication that he likes a firm course and this might be to his liking at a monster price.

R10 - G1 Breeders' Cu Sprint

#7 Mico Margarita (15-1) - Like the way he's coming into the race and looks to get a favorable trip.
#4 Secret Circle (9-2) - Expecting defending champ to bounce back with a big effort. 2ND
#6 Rich Tapestry (Ire) (5-1) - Ran down a couple of real good ones in most recent, but faces a much bigger field here.
#14 Bourbon Courage (30-1) - After following his career hard to imagine he'd end up here, but has a bunch of talent and could light up the toteboard with a proper trip. 4TH
#2 Indianapolis (12-1) - Lightly raced colt and shown talent since day one and must be included in deep tickets.

R11 - G1 Breeders' Cup Mile (Turf 8F)

#4 Mustajeeb (GB) (6-1) - Has taken money in Europe while facing top company looks to give world class trainer Dermot Weld for 1st BC win.
#6 Tom's Tribute (15-1) - He's in sharp form and draws perfectly for his stalking style.
#5 Toronado (Ire) (5-2) - Logical contender with lots of credentials, but looks more like a use and not a single.
#2 Obviously (8-1) - No secret what the game plan will be. Send and hope for the best.
#8 Trade Storm (GB) (12-1) - Experience runner in coming in on career from off Woodbine Mile victory. Spencer will work out a trip. 3RD

R12 - G1 Breeders' Cup Classic

#2 Cigar Street (12-1) - Lightly raced 5yr old has flashed some talent and these top connections had other options (Fayette last week and Clark later the month), but chose this one. He's caught some buzz this week, but you'll still get a great price on a runner that was always meant for this despite a couple of injury setbacks.
#6 Shared Belief (9-5) - The only concern is how much did the Awesome Again race take out of him. Looking for him to run BIG. 4TH
#12 Candy Boy (20-1) - This is his favorite track and should be his favorite distance. The price will be right if you chose to take a risk.
#11 Tonalist (5-1) - I'm a huge fan, but maybe his best running comes at Belmont. With the right trip, he could take this and become Horse of the Year.
#9 Toast of New York (12-1) - Wildcard in the race and we know he can handle the Classic distance. If he handles the dirt, the rest might be in trouble. 2ND

PK6 - 2 4 11 / 9 / 1 7 / 4 6 7 / 4 / 2 6 = $72

PK4 - 1 7 11 / 2 4 6 7 14 / 2 4 5 6 8 / 2 6 = $75

Special Daily Double - Distaff/Classic - $1 DD - 6 7 9 10 11 / 2 6 9 11 12 = $25

$10 DD - 6 10 / 2 6 12 = $60

Good Racing Luck
