A case of 'the slows' for '16 sophomores..
Expansion of discussion in the Weekend Beyers thread..
Here's a link to the Top 25 Derby candidates last year coming up to the race to help compare how the Class of '16 is faring fig-wise through mid-January: http://static.drf.com/images/2015_Derbyprobs.pdf There are some isolated players that have run 90+ (only 2 this year so far), but overall.. Yeesh. Just out of the Derby 25 last year, Intl Star, Dortmund, Carpe Diem, American Pharoah, El Kabeir, Upstart, Firing Line, Mr. Z, Ocho Ocho Ocho, (plus Texas Red, Calculator & Daredevil) had all run 90+ by now..
