On Saturday we will be playing the Haskell Day card at Monmouth Park, but we will ONLY be playing Races 5-13.

Please have your selections for the points contest posted on this thread not later than post time for Race 5. This is currently scheduled for 1:51 PM Eastern time, but track management has cautioned that post times may be adjusted and post parades shortened due to the excessive heat and humidity, so the deadline could possibly be earlier than that.

Right now, Monmouth appears to be the only major Eastern track running on Saturday afternoon. Saratoga, Laurel, Parx, Delaware Park, Belterra and Finger Lakes have all cancelled. While track management has implemented a number of safety protocols and would be very reluctant to lose their biggest day of the year, you need to pay attention to the possibility of a cancellation. Proximity to the ocean may help them escape the worst heat.
