Second place finish going long for Chad Brown indicates she is capable at the marathon trip. Race 4- 1st #1 KRUBERA 2ND #2 DASH TO THE TOP 3RD #3 TIZ SPLENDID NEWS #1 KRUBERA showed speed after a poor break on debut and likely needed that race. Aggressive pilot aboard in a race loaded with question marks. Race 5- 1ST #3 CHECKSANDBALANCES 2ND #9 KITTEN’S ROMANCE 3RD #1 CHEROKEE SONG #3 CHECKSANDBALANCES made up ground in a race almost completely dominated on the front end and should improve with that race behind her. Race 6- 1st #3 ASSUME 2ND #1 SHE’S A BLACK BELT 3RD #7 CLASSY SADIE #3 ASSUME was claimed off a handy maiden win and has been spotted realistically for her first try against winners. Race 7- 1st #10 TURNED ASIDE 2ND #1 BUY LAND AND SEE 3RD #8 MAVEN #10 TURNED ASIDE looks as if he has improved as a 3YO and is drawn favorably on the outside to stalk and pounce. Race 8- 1ST #5 CATCH A BID 2ND #3 CLARA PEETERS 3RD #4 BLOWOUT #5 CATCH A BID was too close to the pace last time out and tired but can be effective rating a bit farther off the pace today. Jockey who rode her to Riskaverse win a year ago is back aboard. Race 9- 1ST #8 LET THEM EAT CAKE 2ND #2 THRILL 3RD #4 BASTET #8 LET THEM EAT CAKE rallied gamely last time out to snag the place dough and now goes 2nd off a layoff.
