ROI Final Stats for 2023-2024
Another year is in the books. Hard to believe it's been 16 years since I started keeping track of the ROI and that 6 of our current players were there in 2009. Every year we have had a player make money on the wagers except for 2020. This year the ROI winner was me, Real Quiet. Wagering $4693 and getting a return of $5429 gave me a positive ROI of 15.69%. NJ Stinks wagered $3430 and got back $3859 for an ROI of 12.51% to finish in second place. It was not too shabby of a year for handicappers from New Jersey. They missed making a profit but in 3rd, 4th and 5th were Digger (-10.64%), Cal (-12.42%) and Ruffian (-16.85%). I led the pack with 8 wins with NJ Stinks tallying 7. Cal and Digger chipped in with 6 each. The biggest score of the year and the only player to break $1000 was Ruffian who on April 13th collected a profit of $1034.80. Nicely played. Digger knows how to hit the ROI board. Over half the weeks (52% of the time) Diggers name showed up on the ROI leader board. NJ Stinks win percentage was a group best 20%. This was my 3rd ROI win (2015 2018 2024) and my 3rd Gallivan Cup (2014 2017 and 2024). Ruffian and Little Watermelon have 2 ROI wins and DonGuido has 5 Gallivan wins. That's it for now.
