Race 4: OptClm $25K/N2X 1 1/8 turf 1. #3 ONE OF THE BEST (8-1) has been chasing likes of Nobiz Like Shobiz, Twilight Meteor, repeater Duveen; big class relief here; 2-3 over Calder sod; underrated Roimes Chironos takes call to ride. 2. #8 NOMBRE de RIOS (3-1) is likely fave off 7-week freshening for Mark Hennig; key is addition of Javier Castellano in the saddle today; big stretch threat. 3. #2 SPIKEAVELLIAN (10-1) enters off sharp mile dirt score vs lesser at GP on 3/23; should control pace from hedge and may prove tough to reel in if able to steal away under Elvis. Good luck. |
