you belie your own statement. he needs room to get going you say, he can pick off slower horses you say, but than you say he isn't one dimensional because he's won at different distances. that's the funniest thing i've read in who knows how long. it doesn't matter the distance, closers are so often barely there, or barely a loser. it's still one dimensional. it's not how many horses are ahead of him, it's whether he can make a sustained run. if he doesn't get shut off and stopped, he can sustain his bid regardless of path taken. and funny, i swear drf said the race set up perfectly for him. i guess they don't know what they're talking about either. i bet you bet stone closers at longer distances, because you're one of those who thinks a closer automatically can run further, and with added distance, this time he'll get there. and then once again you're stuck with a horse who hit the board, but you only bet him to win.
