they said yesterday he was having some back problems. he was in and out much of the night, but i think he made a mistake in coming back too soon on that knee. the second half of this season he hasn't done as well as earlier. still one hell of a player, but you can't get double teamed weekly on a bum knee and do well.

steltz was gimpy most of last night as well. very brutal game, with doucet getting dinged up several times.

i had my doubts the other day. the guy i bet in the colts/pats game offered one for yesterday, i declined.
