Don't they say that you make your own breaks? The Pats weren't able to capitalize on the breaks that they got. Bradshaw, getting his own fumble and the 12 man penalty. Two chances to have the ball deep in Giants territory. I really do believe that the Pats thought they were good enough to just turn it on when they wanted to, and it almost worked.
As far as Eli goes, I believe that he has turned the corner. He has become the franchise QB they thought they were getting. Ernie Accorsi didn't get much credit last night, but the foundation of this team has his fingerprints all over them. I also thought that I heard that the Giants are the third youngesst team in the leauge. They are in good shape for the future, maybe this could be the begining of something really special.
