Fourstarsallstar
Steve. I finally got around to hearing the Thursday 7/17 show. It's always my favorite show of the week with Rich Eng, Steve Haskin and Tony Black back to back to back. Anyway, I'm glad you got Steve Haskin to talk more about Fourstarsallstar. He was one of my alltime favorite horses, not only because of what he accomplished, but I always just loved his name. I remember watching the weekly racing show on ESPN at the time, I think it was Thoroughbred Digest with Chris Lincoln, and they showed the Irish 2000 Guineas race. There was no internet or TVG/HRTV at that time, so ESPN's weekly show was about the only place to get all the highlites. I just thought it was so great that Leo O'Brien sent that horse over the pond to win and I followed his career closely after that. He was always a competitive horse, and won in graded company in the states, but that race in Ireland is one I'll never forget. Excellent segment with Tony Black as well. I loved the story about the owner of My Juliet not realizing the Michigan Mile was actually 1 1/8 miles.
Thanks again. SMH
