I know people that have had to smoke it 3-4 times a day just to get through the day. Sounds physically addictive to me.
There's nothing in it that causes a physical addiction. Some people can become mentally addicted though where they like the feeling of being high so much that they have cravings to smoke. The rate of that is far lower than for any other drugs out there.
