Leroy Jolley/Foolish Pleasure
Tonight was the first of a new direction for Thoroughbred Legacy which will feature more in-depth horse, race or personality conversations. Leroy Jolley was featured in the discussion of Foolish Pleasure and his lead up to the Wood Memorial (April 19, 1975) after his first career loss in the Florida Derby.
I'm anxious to get your feedback about the segment and to hear what specific people, horses or events you would like to see featured. Next week, Jorge Velasquez will join me, and I've already received a request to bring Penny Chenery to the air. Jack Wittaker is a guest I've wanted to bring on as well. Hope you enjoyed the segment tonight. Archive page here if you'd like to hear it: http://www.thoroughbredracingradione...y=14&Itemid=35 And Bob Baffert, Bill Mott and Mike Welsch were pretty good tonight too if you missed them...
