Michael Wrona
I found this short piece on golden Gate Fields announcer, Michael Wrona, and enjoyed reading it:
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/articl...NSHG178I7M.DTL I may be biased since he's my home track announcer but I really like his calls. I worry we'll lose him to a bigger track someday, he's that good. I actually have imagined hearing him say about my horse, "and O Firefly FLIES to the lead!" but sadly she doesn't run well enough for him to say anything that exciting  (typical call for her is "O Firefly two lengths last")Keep up the good work Michael! Someday I'll get a horse that's good enough to bring out the excitement in your call
