Slight edge to My Magic Moment

ELMONT, N.Y. - For the definition of a wide-open race, consult Friday's eighth race at Belmont Park, the $65,000 Dam Little overnight stakes, scheduled for the Widener turf at one mile.

Of the eight 3-year-old New York-bred fillies in the main body, six received a Beyer Figure of 78 to 80 in at least one of their last two starts on grass. That includes My Magic Moment, who drops out of a fifth-place finish in the Grade 3 Boiling Springs at Monmouth Park and will likely go favored, based on three highly promising turf races at Belmont last fall.

"She didn't seem to be herself at Monmouth, but she's back with New York-breds and this looks like a good spot for her to run well," said trainer Tom Albertrani.
