You may need DRF Plus to read Steve Crist's Sunday editorial on the nonsensical NYC-OTB crisis being orchestrated by Mayor Bloomberg. If you can't read the piece, you can listen to Crist from last Wednesday on ATR (Hour 2: 5:30-5:45) for a similarly clear explanation of the situation.

Or go back to November and catch Matt Hegarty's segment debunking the whole phony posture when it first started. It was Hegarty who forensically blew a hole in the city's claim that it was 'losing' money with City OTB.

THEY'RE LYING... It's an outrage... And the mainstream press swallows it whole. And the bettors will end up paying for City OTB's own mistake in overpaying for night flat racing...

Your self serving tirade today on ATR was comical.. Do you want to facilitate change or do you just wish to spend your agenda. IF you really gave a dam you could have done your very best to get OTB on air with Crist. I realize your position and more importantly stand right beside you ,but that isnt the point! Get OTB on air have them answer your questions, pick apart the accounting schemes and have them respond.. You want to make a point, great , make it so that it is not yur opinion but indeed a fact.

You think a state agency hasn't gotten the blessing from professionals to encrypt the mony's due the state as an expense? Expose it bring on someone, an expert to unravel its code... Come on Steve be Meet the Press when needed!
