Keeneland 6th: Breeding oddity
Ian Wilkes sends DREAMSPACE in today's KEE 6 MSW. The Tiznow filly, making her third start, is out of the Irish mare Willa Joe. Willa Joe's most well known progeny was the excellent multiple stake winner Willa On the Move. In a coincidence I can't ever remember seeing, Willa On the Move herself has a daughter by Ghostzapper in this event, Trombetta's GRECIAN MAIDEN. In other words, Willa Joe has a daughter and granddaughter in the same race.
