Default TV and Desktop punchers -- adjusting to betting from laptops

I've ruined four laptops so far this year. Including a new one that I only had for a couple of days.

Here's a picture from a couple months ago of three of them together.

Two of the three were victims of punches to the screen that turned them a crazy tie-dye color. The one on the back right was broke after I tossed it into a wall.

A friend of mine who works for the track actually made me a laptop using certain parts from two of the different busted computers. So, I'm really only at a minus 3 net. I never had this problem before -- but mostly I'd use a desktop instead of a laptop... and those suckers are built to take a punch.

Does anyone else who plays from home have problems with these fragile machines? Is anyone else who bets at the track a TV puncher? It's a really hard habit to break. I know TV punching is a very common habbit among bettors because I picked it up myself from watching others do it at the old OTB here. I've also seen it all over. I'm going to have to splurge for the indestructable laptop once this makeshift one bites the dust.
