Tim Geithner to do a Hank Paulson?

A Treasury official said on Friday that the United States was not planning to make bilateral loans to the IMF and the lender's resources were adequate.

Now I just hope when Geithner visits Europe he doesn't pull a Paulson.

BTW Again I thought the Pres said we were in competition with the rest of the world when pleading for more education and infra-structure money? Now his Treasury Secretary is going to loan the rest of the world money?

Do you think we could sell the euro zone Freddie and Fannie or the USPO?
