Lawyer Sent to Jail For Defending Christian

I'm sure you guys have heard that in Iran if you convert to Christianity you will be put to death. In this particular case, this guy was never a Muslim to begin with, yet he was still sentenced to death. If that's not bad enough, now they have put his lawyer in jail and sentenced him to 9 years in prison. This is a first. I have never heard of a lawyer being put in jail for simply defending a client. It would be one thing if the lawyer engaged in some type of misconduct, but that is not the case here. They have convicted the lawyer of "acting against national security and spreading propaganda against the regime". Now it's going to be hard to even get a lawyer for these types of cases.
