Big Kick
Monmouth 6th race on 7/6.
He went off at 6-1 off a 3-1 ML. Closed strongly in a race that melted down. Trujillo opts to save ground and tries to shoot up the rail, unfortunately it looks like he hits it instead (maybe more than once) and is severly squeezed. But once he reached the opening by the chute, he seems to take off, but can't reel in the favorite who already had the jump. I'm thinking the price on him next out isn't going to be great. But it is a lesser known trainer on the Monmouth circuit and I think that's the reason he drifted up today. Who knows, if they blow the chart or maybe Elvis jumps off next out, maybe he will be overlooked and you can get in the 5-1 range.
