i know it's been a long-standing thing that you don't celebrate a home run, as the next time at bat, the pitcher you scored off might well ping you with the ball. there are other instances of 'payback' from pitchers. i remember reading about a guy who scored a huge home run, and ducked his head and ran his bases. some teammates asked why he didn't celebrate at all, he said i have to go back out there later. i don't want to get hit. so, why all the fuss about a-fraud getting hit?
