Claire Novak's fascinating piece on Hagyard's NICU. It's also sort of interactive with video links as you go through. The way the pictures shifted jarred me at first, but eventually I got used to it. I can't imagine how traumatizing it must be to work in a NICU for horses or people. The highs and lows of trying to save lives would be incredible enough working with adults, but the well being of the little ones at their most vulnerable makes the situation even more charged.
