Default Great news for a great track

Great news for a great track. Here's to hoping that the New Jersey horsemen can build upon this success and keep it going next year!

The Meadowlands is a completely under used race track. Too bad they had only 13 racing dates for TB this year. Why is Harness more prevalent there and a beautiful Turf Course not used for most of the year.

Meadowlands harness is the only buggy track that even sniffs my money..really nice track and I would rather have them continue to slay the harness scene then expand further with tbs

The Meadowlands is owned by a casino/harness guy which is the reason that they race primarily harness horses there.

If the sports betting thing and potentially slots deal works out for Monmouth there is a strong possibility that the Meadowlands will return to a full meet with dirt racing as well.

They have a hard time competing for horses to allow a longer meet or more days because the surrounding tracks all have slot $ and they dont.
