Delaware Park: February 7th Handicapping Contest

Hi guys - contest coming up this weekend. Different tracks due to signal dispute but it should still be a good time. Chris Sobocinski, Racing Information Coordinator sent out the following info:

"Despite the simulcast signal disruption, the first Delaware Park horse racing handicap contest in 2015 will be held on Saturday, February 7.

The handicap contest tracks are subject to change on moments notice, so please visit Delaware Park website at www.delawarepark.com/racing/ for updates, but as of Thursday, January 29 the tracks in the contest are as follows:

Aqueduct, Oaklawn, Fair Grounds, Parx and Mahoning Valley.

We will start taking entries at 10 am on the first floor clubhouse across from the Player Rewards/Program booth.

Below short recap of key points:
o $100 entry fee/ $100 bankroll
o 100% of the entry fees will be returned to players in prize money
o Based upon 100 entries, first prize is $5,000
o Only win, place and show wagers on contest designated tracks
o Must wager on minimum of 10 races (No maximum)
o $10 minimum wager per race (No Maximum)
o Participant with the highest total after last race is the winner

o March 7
o April 4
o June 13
o September 12
o November 21"

I used to play in this all the time. but with no GP, Tampa, or SA count me out.

It still should be a good contest tomorrow. The format is great. Still, I do hope that the fee dispute is resolved before the next one.
