Basically, the article, in no particular order:
1. agrees with Steve Coburn's post Belmont remarks of last year
2. Blames lasix for hurting the horses
3. Cites physiology of what all horses do in a race in terms of energy consumption, as part of "proof" that one specific horse, American Pharoah, can't win the Belmont. Normally "non sequitur" arguments are to be avoided, not printed.
I hope people read it an believe it, raising the odds on the win pool and the A.P./ALL/ALL trifecta when it pays out.
