Yes, it is...
For profit prisons, private firms handling red light cameras, and now 911?! Its crazy...but i wonder if some areas would have better coverage? I mean, dominos knows your exact location if you order a pizza from your cell.phone...but when you call 911 from your cell, well, good luck.

Very concerning. I remember 911 was always excellent service. So much so that hip hop legend Flavor Flav praised them with his hit song, "911 is the s.hit"

It's ancient news. My county's 911 service was farmed out 7 years ago. The phone company's RFP was double what the contract firm bid.
I guess paying 3 union employees to sit around waiting for something to break wasn't cost effective. |
