This was an RNA.

I saw the Phipps Stable bought 336. Not sure I have ever noticed them buying a yearling at the sales.

Interesting story on the $1.9M RNA colt. Looks like the owner thought he sold for that price.

I have not either and I believe I would have plus I havent seen a alien runner outside their pedigree run in the Cherry and Black. Pretty sure I have not missed one in 25 years but its possible.

Very good news, must mean they are freshening up the herd.

Maybe Country Hideaway? I think they bought Our Country Place privately. Looks like they bought a second yearling. Hip 581 Malibu Moon Filly. Might be changing to a model more like Stuart Janney's? They have had a few stallions the last few years so maybe just reinvesting.

Thx for update. Steve will ask Sid Fernando as I am sure it will be addressed. I know from Steve's discussions with Sid they Mr Phipps bought Maplejinsky, but we are going back decades in any case.

I wonder what their collection is worth when I see a culled Phipps's mare in book 1 that couldnt run a lick and i mean a lick have offspring sell for big figs.
