For the second straight week the board was filled with winners from Aqueduct and the Tampa
Bay Derby as 5 tickets were cashed. The Super spot goes to Cal828 who boxed the tri at
Tampa and got $115.50 back. NJ Stinks takes the show spot with one of the two winning bets
on Vino Rosso. VR paid NJS $145 for the win. Don Guido also played Vino Rosso but added
a $50 place bet to his wager and easily took second with a return of $257. The winner this
week? As Men At Work sang "Who Can It Be Now"? Who else but the red hot Indian Hemp
who nails an ROI 3 peat. IH got a Tampa Bay Derby win with Tacitus worth $198 and added
a fitty cent trifecta for $115.50. 3 peats are rare in the ROI and next week Indian Hemp will
be joining Joly B as both seek 4 peats in the respective contests. Nicely played Indian Hemp.
Nicely played Joly B. Rumor has it Joly is still undecided on Oaklawn or Kamloops and what
better way to celebrate 4 peats than on Kamloops Kabillion Day. As for 3 peats or 4 peats
this week we saw a 5 peat which is one more than the Buffalo Bills. Each week Roamin has
put a $100 on one horses nose and each week the horse has finished second. Each one
would have paid double digits to win. Sometimes you just can't win for losing and you gotta
give Tom credit for picking good horses who just can't quite win. All you can do is keep
trying. Had this happened to me I'd be pissin and moanin. I do that when I get one bad
