Default Weather for Derby Day looks like RRRRAIN!!!

My very sketchy iPhone weather report shows storms in the area for Thur and Fri and RAIN for Saturday. They could be racing in a bog all day which sucks and will likely keep the gate down. Can't mess with Mother Nature but that's too bad and will compromise horses that would make a better showing without it.

Anyone have more detailed weather info for the CD area, please add.

Thanks
DG

I was actually happy that it would be raining because I LOVE Omaha Beach and I thought that would set up well for him.

Now he's scratched due to throat issues. I'm just devastated for Mandella. When Omaha Beach won the AK Derby I felt it in my bones that OB was going to win the KY Derby and we'd see Mandella in the winner's circle with Rick Porter.

Well, going with Tacitus for Mott now. Tacitus is out of champion Close Hatches who Mott also trained. We need a grey winner for a change anyway! It's been chestnut, bay, chestnut, bay through the recent years. GO GREY! Great sire and dam, great trainer. Come on Tacitus!

I agree Plen about OB and Mandella . . . sucks. Wide open now for Baffert and others to show their stuff. OB may not even get a chance to run in any TC race, sucks!!! I like Tacitus but maybe not to win.

Default Gray Obsession

'' It's been chestnut, bay, chestnut, bay through the recent years. GO GREY!''
==============================================

I'VE BEEN 'GRAY HORSE OBSESSED' ALL MY LIFE

IF I SEE A HERD OF BROWN HORSES, I JUST LOOK
BUT MY HEART DOESN'T RACE ~
THEN I SEE A GRAY AND MY HEAD GETS WHIPLASH!

SOMETIMES THO, A NAME OVERRIDES THE GRAY OBSESSION
SO THIS TIME MY #1 LOVE IS NOT GRAY BUT MY OTHER 2 ARE

PLUS QUE PARFAIT {NOT GRAY: DIFFERENT ATTRACTION}

GRAY MAGICIAN {NAME SAYS IT ALL}

ROADSTER = GRAY

ANY HORSE ON ANY DAY CAN WIN!

I Had GIACOMO @ 50/1 {GRAY Son Of Holy Bull!}
