![]() It's ok, only one more humiliation awaits us for this year and then we can have delusions of grandeur about the coming contest year and who knows maybe we all got something out of this year. Certainly, not much money

![]() On another subject. Has anybody looked at the PPs for the BC yet? Turf mile looks impossible. 22 horses listed in the PPs. Course I'm sure it will be whittled down to maybe 14. Probably a great race for somebody to play one of those big multi-horse super boxes or part wheels.

The situation will be greatly clarified tomorrow evening when the actual entries are made and the post positions are drawn. I believe that starts at 6:30 PM Eastern and takes about 2 hours. Probably will be shown live on TVG. After that, the lists get a bit more manageable, but working through a field of 14, and comparing performances of races run in France, England and Ireland still leaves my head spinning. |

![]() I agree about the difficulty of making heads or tails of the euros. I can usually glean a little bit of info from the PPs like running style and class, but I don't follow European racing enough to know much about trainers beyond
Aidan O'Brian or John Gosden or Andre Fabre and of course you get nothing in euro PPs about works or race paces or speed figures. |
