Default ROI Results 10/26 @ Belmont

Whether it be the east coast or the west coast. Dirt turf or AW, the regular season at the Call
To Post ROI belongs to Roamin. With yet another $20+ straight winner Tom got his picture
taken in the Winners Circle at Belmont to cap off a great year. Joly B or B Joly quinelled his
way to the show slot with a 7-3 $8.20 payout and almost doubled his money. Cal takes the
place spot with a $40 win bet on Seismic Wave in the 5th. Cal got a double digit payout of
$11.40 worth $228 and was able to wrest the number two spot from JB. As stated earlier
Roamin gets the easy win and should have enough left for a strong Breeders Cup effort.
Tom bet Kreesie to win in the 7th and once again broke the plus $1000 mark. All three
of this weeks winners had horses come from well off the pace to score in exciting fashion.
Following are the unofficial results. See you all next week at the Breeders Cup and I hope
to see a big field. Rumor has it that Don Guido is NOT out to stud and will be back to
defend his 2018 Gallivan Cup. Though a little greyer and not quite the sprinter he used
to be who can argue with his Gallivan Cup record.

2012 Don

2015 Don
2016 Ruffian

I'm sure we're all hoping for that positive part about our sport and holding our breath until the last race is run. Big recap on all the Santa Anita machinations on Yahoo today. Hard to understand how two racetracks located fairly close together like Del Mar and Santa Anita could be so different as far as the safety of the horses is concerned, but Santa Anita seems to always have had some problems. I remember when they had the poly they had some sort of drainage problems. I was able to go there in 2017. It is a magnificent old race track. Designed by the same guy that did the Los Angeles Coliseum, I think.
