Very happy your joining the group. It will help to read the basic rules and "how tos", if you haven't already done so. Don't be afraid to ask questions at any time. We are a friendly group of horse and horse racing lovers. You'll likely get more feedback than you need.

I live in Virginia, but have lived all over. Fell in love with racing at Del Mar...sigh. Such a beautiful place. I've been to Del Mar many times, Santa Anita a few, Colonial Downs and Charlestown...bucket list is Churchill Downs, Old Friends....

I feel like I know the California tracks better, but think that might be a curse sometimes. Biases can hinder handicapping and not knowing some of the trainers/owners/jockeys in the east might be a good thing...you look at the race without those biases...with an open mind. Sometimes, it's better to trust the signs the horse is giving more than the peripherals.
