The Oscars and Horse Racing. Tonight on the Oscars I was 9 for 11 picking winners really knowing very little about any of the movies, actors, etc. And I only picked the categories I saw coming up, not everyone. Like I don't play ever race when I go to the track either. Not a whole lot of relevance but if I could pick races like I pick the winners on the Oscars, I'd be much better off in our retirement for sure, much better off.

I'll have sweet dreams tonight picking horses like I picked the winners of the Oscars tonight and wake up much richer for it . . . in my dreams 9 for 11. Go figure!!!

I don't think you are giving yourself enough credit. I don't want to preempt RQ's entertaining narrative, but I think you might have been the only winner on a baffling Tampa card that had all the rest of us Lost In Space.

Anytime I can get a positive ROi, I'll take it. But it's rare for me. Just felt it would be the safest bet on the card and so it was. My MO is the Points contest, as most know here. You, my friend, are a tough competitor since I thought I might be looking a a SWEEP but your great boxed tri pick in Race 11 shut that down.

It's unusual to see JB and lately Ruffian out of the top 1,2 or 3 . . . but before we know it they will both heat up challenging for the lead. And lets not forget RQ who's right in there as well. You have added a new dynamic here and i'm sure we all like it. Nice REPEAT, again, BTW.

Thanks, but sincere kudos to you for knowing which race would maximize your play. It's a big part of the battle for all of us to know which race we should play and so frustrating to look back after picking the wrong one. When you choose poorly, nobody has to beat you. You usually end up beating yourself. Handicapping is obviously important, but betting is equally so.
