Alrighty then Cruz on the 3 in Race 1. But but but why? What made you do it? Very interesting pick and you hit a nice ROI too paying $35.80. Quite amazing for sure.

And Ruffian hits race 1 for a $20 win bet. She loves greys so that kinda makes sense.

But wait everyone . . . I forget, when does horse racing make sense, especially at Saratoga on a wet surface???

Perhaps it was the jockey change to Benjie Hernandez, or the drop from CL20 to CL16 that made the difference. His last race was only 9 days ago, when he was 7th at 53-1; the chart explains "GREY JAZMINE bumped with a rival at the start then came out and bumped soundly with another foe, settled at the rear, moved in near the half-mile pole, saved ground on the turn and failed to respond then was eased in the final furlong but walked off."

I guess you need to pay attention to the "eased and walked off" angle.

I always look for horses with great back speed and Grey Jazmine
had the highest.
order of finish was:

3. Grey Jazmine
2. La negrita
6. Happy Sophia

back speed last race was:
86 Grey Jazmine
85 Happy Sophia
83La Negrita
I had a perfect superfecta BOX

Way above my wimpy race brain and pay grade. I guess I don't get the back speed approach but it seems to work for you!!!

Cruz, was that the same angle you used for Bye Bye Melvin. Amazing to catch Johnny V and Motion at 19-1.

Then the 2 comes up and nips the 5 to ruin my pick 3 already and the 2 did it without any back speed I can see. Hey, I won't hit the 4th or 5th either so alas, alas.

Hmmmmmm. Again, I'm trying to apply logic to a sport that mostly defies logic. I'd consider a long freshening for me but I can't miss Churchill next week.
