Be interesting to see what American Theorem gets. He was very good yesterday but as the day wore on it seemed like the main had a real outer flow to it. Either way, he has really gotten good.

Beyer 104 figure for American Theorem, winner of the Bing Crosby G1 with @bravoace
. For its part, Royal Ship received 102 for its performance in the San Diego Handicap G2.

Horse probably would have been a multiple graded stakes winner long ago. Fell apart trying to make the BC Juvenile despite having no better chance than being an also-ran. Then he was ridiculously brought back too soon so they could fantasize about the KY Derby and was tossed into one of the toughest Derby preps (the Rebel) off the layoff. Been in the wilderness ever since.

And that's pretty much the same story with the runner-up (Get Her Number), too.

At least the remainder of their careers have been salvaged as late running sprinters (unless they go for the BC Undercard Mile, of course).

Anyone got a number on Goliad from yesterday at Delmar? He looked like he ran his eyeballs out.

After watching this weekend (SPA), I learned that the Asmussen barn appears to be particularly honed.

The TAP filly reminded me of another debut blowout winner from years past. Havana had that same kind of jaw-dropper in a 5.5f race.
