Default Poor Matt Gogel

Matt Gogel used to be a really good player. His best tournament was always the AT&T. He won it one year. He finished 2nd to Tiger another year. Gogel was always a solid player who you could count on to be around 70th on the money list. He was good for around $800,000 a year.

Now the poor guy has completely lost his game. I don't think he made more than $100,000 last year. This year at the AT&T, which was always his best tournament, he finished dead-last shooting 84, 77, and 85. That is 30 over par in a tournmanet where he used to always shoot several under par. Golf is a crazy game.

Richi, the year he finished 2nd to Tiger was when Tiger came from 7 shots back with 7 holes to play. Been around the game long enough to see better players than him fall to the wayside. I check all the golf periodicals every week, and it never fails to amaze me at the names I see that are now struggling on the Nationwide Tour...just to make a cut.

Hard f*cking game is all I can tell ya....

What happened to the next prodigy, Ty Tryon?

Or David Duval?

I have no clue about Tryon. Duval's game is actually starting to come around a bit now.
