Default peegardn's college top 10

1. LSU - incredible defense, get the best players from east texas and Louisiana

2. Florida - they are back

3. Oklahoma - offensive juggernaut

4. USC - dont take Neb. win seriously (Neb is BAD) but its not their fault

5. West Virginia - bunch of fast guys that are hard to tackle

6. Ohio State - defense and an emerging offense

7. Oregon - have played very well so far

8. California - rounding out an offensive pac-10

9. Boston College - appear to be very good right now... the season is long

10. Penn State - untested but they have some talent

Notables left out:
Texas - horrible offensive line right now, defense gives up big plays, shallow at RB
Wisconsin - totally unimpressed at present

The truth:
At present, the top 5 are interchangebable.
All are very capable of becoming BCS champions.

Rutgers-consistant both sides of the ball

Hawaii-is a flying circus
USF- consistant both sides of the ball
VT-has trouble scoring

OSU- looks to be the best team in the big 10. the whole big 10 is average at best.

If for nothing else, they play in a conference that if you are good it should be pretty easy to go undefeated. But even though neither my Nittany Lions or Michigan are any good this year, they play both on the road...they will lose one of them.

That conference didn't help them much when they were getting embarrassed last year

In reality LSU and Oklahoma are the only teams that have beaten competition worth a damn.

But Ohio St. and USC look very solid all the way through. Ohio State has a very good defense so they can stay with anyone just like LSU, even on a bad day.

We shall see. Injuries, offensive lines getting into a groove could change everything quickly.

Who has Oklahoma beaten that Florida hasnt beaten? Tennesee is better than Miami this year.

Florida is right up there with any team and they are the defending champs. No florida fan but give respect.

I do think LSU and USC will be the two teams when the smoke clears.

wvu is the worst team in the top 10. they play terrible defense and a good defense can stop that gimmick offense.

Wink Too early and until bcs is gone it is bs!

LSU in my opinion is the best but anyone can get beat on any certain saturday. How can penn state be number 10! They lost to michigan again you can like ohio state but don't count out wisconsin. winner of wisc-osu game in my opinion will win big ten. Unfortunately the bcs screws us of a real champion. You people in florida can say your champ from last year, but really the only undefeated team was boise state and they should have played ohio state not florida. The bcs is a joke and should be called bs. The little guy doesn't get a chance and that is why the march madness is the best!
