Default The dream came true!!!

I have to share this with you!!

My dream came true.....Just bought my first race horse!!!!

I bought him in an auction of horses in training...nearly one hour ago....

He is called Ojo de Agua (BRZ), and he is a Roi Normand (USA) colt, out of Paula Stein (BRZ), by Solstein (USA). He was bred by TNT Stud...which has some horses in the US, too...

He just turned 3 yo...

He has already 3 starts, with one 5th place (on his debut - dirt surface) and two 9th places (turf surface)....but he has potential, I think...he went out of the gate very late on both starts on the turf, which may be his preferred surface based on his pedigree.

Any insights are welcome!!..Specially about his pedigree!

Thank you very much for everybody who helped me, answering many questions I did this last month!

Congratulations, We had a Brazilian son of Roi Normand win today at the River, Arteliaco. Be ready to be more washed out than the horse when he starts, it is nerve racking!

Your horse is a just turned (1st of July) 3yo; are you intending to run him against US 3yos soon? He is, after all, probably not actually 3 yet, it is the equivalent to February for him age-wise and we don't ask Feb 3yos to face older horses. Come December, January, I can see it - after all, Einstein was still only 3 last winter when he won 4 and up stakes down in Florida.

Congrats man. You will have no other feeling than the one you will get when you are in the winners circle getting your picture take. Doesnt matter if it is a $5000 claiming win or a Grade I, the feeling is AWESOME. Keep us posted and good luck.
