I sure hope everything is going to be okay with him. Very sad that the horse had a heart attack. Well wishes and a speedy recovery for the best jock in the world.

The horse was eased up to the point of barely moving before he went off to the tv screen.

They didn't actually show him getting tossed - but it certainly couldn't have come at much of a speed and he had to have an idea something was wrong because he eased the horse about a quarter of a mile before he got tossed.

Must have made a horrible head-first landing.

I know it's your opinion, but you have to be joking with the whole "best jock in the world" comment, atleast I hope you are.

The guy was as hot as you can be on one of the largest stages in racing recently......tough to say anything negative about the guys results when he moved to Calif. Handicapping that track just changed if this guy is down for any length of time....50% win rates for his last 2 dozen races is about as high as the sky goes for a jockey isn't it? He certainly doesn't deserve to be treated like a 6K winner but right now at that track it is tough to argue with what he has done over the last month

If only I knew how to bet when he was a bug rider. Don't get me wrong, I cashed on a good portion of his rides back then (some bomb a$$ prices to boot), but I always think of how much more it would have been if I actually knew then what I know now.

It seemed to me that when he was a bug, he was on a live horse every race, whether it be a 6/5 shot or a 22-1. All the trainers knew that he was a hot commodity, given the weight break and his talent.

In my eyes, he is the best jockey in the world. A few bonehead moves here and there, yea. Feel free to disagree. I'm sure the lines around the corner on this one.

Sorry he is definitely not the best Jockey in the world and probably not even the best jockey in north america. Christophe Soumillon is definitely better, Gomez is... and Prado probably is also.

Bejarano is a good journeyman jockey, he's not bad but I don't see him being in the top 5 Jockies if he were riding in the east.

Well,I think he has more energy physically and mentally than most jocks. He doesn't have to fight weight. So,he probably isn't as grumpy etc. as many jocks.I like that he always wants to give his horse a chance to see what they have to do.They can always see a target.I don't know if he is best, but he is very good, and he rides stakes races much better than in the past.It would appear SOCAL fits him very well(has since he came here the very 1st time.)

When you wake up from your hangover I recommend you take 800 mgs Ibprofen and then go lie down, when you wake up again come back on the site and erase this top 10 and we all agree never ever to bring this up again...

You know if he's healthy he'll be back at Toga trying to improve on his 21 wins last summer....

He'll come through for you one of these days...

dude, you do know who you are talking to, right?

you're a doctor, can't you prescribe him something, like morphine?

better yet, can you prescribe the rest of the board morphine?
