I still can't believe that horse didn't turn out better than he did.

That was insane for a horse making it's 2nd lifetime start.

It was a bit ironic that a horse that agile would die of EPM, degenerating to the point where he couldn't even get up anymore.

I know he was a bridesmaid in 3 TC races in a row but what about Alydar's performance in the 1978 Florida Derby - 1:47 flat for a 1 1/8 miles - "awesome fast"
