![]() No - he's closely inbred to Mr. Prospector.
Still, not a bad guess at least, since he was a Euro import. I will give you a hint - this horse and Espoir City were the only two BC Classic starters this year with no Mr. Prospector in their pedigree. |

Silverbulletday's career is strikingly similar to Rachel Alexandra though. SBD developed a little sooner - and RA might have been just a touch more talented - they both "struggled" at age four but still ran strong numbers for older females. |

So you dont mind doing beyers on horses from the 60's? How about you start a thread and take suggestions? I would like to know how Bernardini and Point Given would stack up vs older greats? How about Giants Causeway's 1 dirt effort or his entire career? Rock Hard Tens career? Looking at SBD pp's I think she would have beat Z and Rachel on the norm. She fell off a bit, and I guess people can say Z never did, but she still ran fast A LOT. |

![]() What about Victory Gallops Foster and Whitney? As a deep closer, better then anything Z ever ran?

![]() He was basically an honest 105-to-108 type of horse through the summer of his 3yo season. He developed into a 114-to-118 type of horse by late fall of his 3-year-old season on. The ALW race where he only managed a 111 - that was at 8.5 at Gulfstream and the pace was slow (25 flat opening quarter) His Dubai race was also probably slow paced (he tracked in 4th) - and he didn't have lasix for that race....he ran HORRIBLE as a 2yo without lasix. But yeah, basically same running style as Zenyatta and he would have beat her going long as an older horse with lasix. With Mr. Prospector and Storm Cat blood taking over - horses in general aren't quite as good going 10fs as they have been. Zenyatta does have Mr. Prospector in her pedigree .. but he's back a ways in the sire line - and Zenyatta has a ton of American stamina influences and Euro turf horses all over her pedigree. She's a lot better bred for 10fs than most horses today. |
