Coil
Just ran a pretty impressive race in the Affirmed. He might prove the best 3 year old of this crop when all said and done.

I disagree. The field he beat today was nothing, and i dont see anyone from that race making any noise down the road, imo.
I wonder who wouldve gotten the mount last out had Rosario n Garcia not been in KY.

What 3 yo race fields should be considered more than "nothing"?

They hire good people, who do a great job selecting and buying horses and Kelly is a very good trainer.

It is a lot easier when you have a couple of developing horses running against this horrific crop and the Arabs to overpay you for them.

Chuck its been a few years and the Arabs are always willing to over pay.. I get theyare good owners that hired qualified people to get them assumed quality talent and that Breen is very good but clearly they have had a ton of good fortune.. As a NJ guy I am happy for Breen.. The TC races were won by some off color stallions. former turf excellent miler that was a SA bred albeit from a brilliant family, a Forestry enough said, and a Roman Ruler going 12f's.Fun game |

that doesnt happen anymore does it? You would think they would learn by now, at least Billionaire Irishmen and the Godolphin boys no longer get into it at auctions, like before. I always miss the random Japanese rich guy who occasionally bought the multi million dollar horse |
