Default How many US winners will there be at Royal Ascot?

I think you'll bag one win during the week.

Day 1 entries dont look that awful - Ward has a couple of entries in the juvenile races (Gentlemans Code and Italo) and Pletcher and Ward (Bridgetown and Holiday For Kitten respectively) have OK-ish chances in an open looking Kings Stand.

Interesting that Ward seems to be employing 3 different jockeys for his 3 horses (Rosario, Sanchez and Smith).

Is it not Ok in the Main Paddock - not too many people venture into the International forums?

I was being sarcastic. I absolutely think it should remain in The Paddock. My previous thread, discussing the swift adjudicating abilities of European racing, which was in stark contrast to the way those items are dealt with in the US, was swiftfly moved to oblivion in the international room last week.

The point - Royal Ascot races deserve to be discussed in this room, as do other major international race meetings that could have Breeders' Cup related implications. Similarly, the ongoing contrast to the greater body of the sport versus American racing is a worthwhile topic of conversation.

If Bridgetown wins are people gonna come on here and try and give props to Ken McPeek (the horse's original trainer) the way they do whenever Curlin's name is invoked?

After Bridgetown's second in the important BC Juvenile Turf, he was mentioned for the 2000 Guineas and St. James's Palace.

Of course, a subsequent 4th in the Grade 3 Generous behind Who's Up quickly squashed those hopes.

I don't think we'll win any race at Ascot. We're inferior and if I had a chance to work for Sheikh Mo I would renounce my citizenship. Plus I'd lose weight in Dubai because it's hot and they have healthier food. I hate this country!!

Go Godolphin!! Go Europe!! Go anything other than America! I'd rather be French!!
