As an addition to their already sh.tty receiving core. They let him and Cottchery go in the off season and replaced them with Derrick Mason (long gone by now) and Jeremy Kerley.

Viva la Mike Tannenbaum!
Are you forgetting about Plax? Obviously there are issues there, not sure who the main culprit is. If I had to guess, I would think that the offensive line's inability to pass block is their biggest problem. Until they address that, it doesn't really matter who they sign at reciever.

Of course I'm not forgetting Plax. It goes to the point that Tannenbaum doesn't know what he's doing anymore. Why get rid of guys who have been successful in your program for a wild card?

I'm with you in thinking the O-line deserves a lot of the blame. Wayne Hunter sucks, D'Brickashaw has played like sh.it all year and Slauson sucks. Rex is in Sanchez's head so much he doesn't know what to do.

But by getting rid of the guys they did, they broke up a cohesive unit. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

The other thing that I couldn't understand is why they abandoned the run. They seemed to be moving the ball well on the ground and just got away from it and it. The game didn't get out of hand until very late, but the play calling was very sketchy before that happened.

I think that Sanchez can be a good QB in the league, but the rest of the team around him is really doing him no favors.
