Racing Syndicate Question

I realize this may not be the most appropriate place for this topic. My apologies.

Is there a "business plan" that exists for starting a horse racing syndicate?

I have inquired about DT in the past, but geography makes it hard for me to get too excited (limited to no exposure to KY circuit) about that....

Any thoughts or advice on ownership appreciated. Thanks.
