Love it!
The internet coverage allows us to follow it so much more closely than we were able to years ago. Not unlike what the internet has done for horse racing for people like me in "dark" states. |

I agree. We get to see stuff we'd never get to see unless we traveled. I have friends that go up to man the vet boxes. Talk about elite athletes! They eat about 9,000 calories a day, their metabolic parameters are unbelievable. Pretty cool stuff

I'm following the Iditarod through the interwebs again this year. I receive email updates through the Anchorage Daily News

Jim Rome if i not mistaken calls it the "I killed a dog race" damn thing is brutal. I'm no peta head, but in this case i don't care for the way these animals are treated.
