I admit that I hardly watched college bball this year. Said it in another thread where you said that you dont even like the NBA. The only times i saw M St play they were getting killed by UNC and saw them lose to Northwestern. I was leading Steve's radio show tourney through saturday? Does that count?

Poor Morton.

Its now a lot more fun watching Lebron not
have to constantly dribble and actually getting to
do things off the ball.
Spurs losing at home to Thunder....

Durant does not need to dribble or ball fake jab step to
be comfortable with his jumper. Most of these other guys
need a dribble or a ball fake to get the feet set.
Durant is incredible. He has the most beautiful jump shot
no dribble, no ball fake necessary. Beautifully balanced.
So you try ball denial. He goes back door now to the hole.
He can take you off the dribble now. And he is Rip Hamilton-
like with no dribble jump shots curling off screens.

Its all coming together.
I love watching him.

He is a pure scorer. Modern day version of Gervin with more range.

Not quite as funky.
Much more traditional scorer compared to Gervin.
Durant is much longer.
And believe it or not will be much better on D.

Gervin was perfectly awful on d.

After games they would interview Gervin and he
would mention his two block shots. But nothing
about how Kevin Greevy would go by him at will.

Defense wasnt a priority back then. It really wasnt for the Ice Man. Billy Paultz had his back

Billy Paultz set the phantom screen against the then
Washington Bullets that broke my spirit. I have suffered
a long time with the Spurs. 9 wonderful years with 4 titles,
and now the lean times approach again with age.

I have been very lucky.

No Suton against NC.
Against Northwestern, Suton had 15 pts and
14 rebounds. They took some of their worst loses
while he was injured.

Most of their tough games were against teams
that had a bit more finesse. This MIch St. team clearly
likes to play against teams that think they can
run right over them.

I love Calhoun statement... "they would fit right
in the Big East."

Interpreted:
1. They are a tough team, but we have played many of these
2. They could actually compete in the Big East.

Not terribly high praise imo.

Getting NOVa and Mich st. in there would be a very good job.
Now if he has mich st. in the final winning against nova...
and this actually happens, I hope he entered in one of the
money brackets.

Useless information dept. Maybe Maryland didnt have such a bad season after all of the calls for Gary Williams's head.

If UNC wins tonight, Maryland would have a victory over both finalists.

Torn here between rooting for Lawson and rooting for NOVA.

All I ask for is a competitive game that my buddies and I can polish this ginormous bottle of Jack Daniels to.

The best part of this game thus far was the wings that we ordered. Killer bleu cheese/hot sauce mixture.

My friends hate me for showing Lawson love.
