Hopefully the Blueshirts, but it all depends on who wins tomorrow. You could be looking at the 1-4 seeds all being out.

I just watched the replay again, and it could have very easily been ruled no goal because Knuble bumped Thomas.

considering the ref's work tonite, i'm surprised they didn't say no goal.

i gotta figure the rangers will win...but i'm not confident with that prediction. but goalies alone gives the edge to ny. they just seem to have tailed off since their best in late winter/early spring.

I feel good about there chances tomorrow, but they just don't score enough to blow teams out, so every game is a grind. I'm sure it will be another nail biter.

As far as the Devils go, I said it the other night, I have no idea how Florida is still in this series. I'm thinking NJ in a laugher tomorrow.

oh, if i had to put money on it, it would be on the (gasp) rangers. pains me so!

holtby-first rookie goalie to win g 7 in ot in 15 years. (who keeps track of all those stats? sometimes you see odd ones).

and the guys tonite talking the game...first i've heard suggested that dale hunter might not be back...

Default Dale Hunter

why not ? does he have something else to do. Bergeron misses open net, Caps win. They will roll vs. anyone they face next.

I've heard Dale Hunter apparently makes a ton of dough from his OHL team, and might want to stick to that. Why wouldn't he want to keep coaching the Capitals though?

Anyway, just have to comment on the rash of disgustingly racist tweets from B's fans circling about the interwebs last night. No excuse. It's freaking 2012. The Washington Post tweeted "Joel Ward puts Chocolate City through to the second round" for crying out loud. I shouldn't have to ask "is it racist" all Daniel Tosh-style about one of the more venerable newspapers in this country.

thanks Matt, stood up for the entire 3rd period and OT. Like they say, OT either ends swiftly or goes on forever.
they went into the series with NOTHING to lose, unlike any other post season they've been in for the past 5 seasons. they've always played GM7's at home and choked the majority of the time. I think people should give a LOT more credit to DH32. He put an amazing game plan together, that had one of the best players in the world sitting on the bench in the clutch.

aight brotha, we did out job, time for you to do yours. The only team i WANT to play would be FLA, but i'm sure that's statisically impossible. I guess i'm rooting for NJ and OTT?

if the Caps do play the Rags i'd be interested in coming up if the series goes past 4 games.... i'm off to L'ville on tuesday

Save your money for a track outing, ticket prices are ridiculous. That is if they should win tonight. Louisville, really? You really get around.

that's too bad that some have to act that way. and yeah, dale does ok with his london knights. i hear he makes more from that than he ever did playing. knowing how tight polian was with his money, i can believe that.
i think dale's done ok with the team-but i can't help but wonder what kind of season it would have been had bruce stayed-altho that point is a moot one.

There should be a Pumpsie Green award given out annually; Beantown would win every year.

And no, booing Obama in Boston is not a leading indicator for how the election will go.

math, is there an issue with the lighting in that arena? seems to always be dark in there.

ottawa keeps playing like that in front of anderson and this game is going to get out of reach really quick.
